Phil’s academic journey began at the University of Notre Dame, where he attended from 2014 to 2018. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and majored in French. These experiences helped him develop a strong work ethic, communication skills, and a sense of civic responsibility.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Phil pursued a Master’s in Accountancy at the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame, focusing on Tax Services. This additional education further honed his accounting and tax law expertise, giving him the knowledge necessary to take on more complex challenges in the financial sector.

Phil’s professional career began in 2019 when he joined Deloitte Tax in Chicago as a tax consultant. He also supervised tax consultants and interns and worked closely with clients and other teams within Deloitte. His time at Deloitte gave him extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, and restructuring, equipping him to advise clients on tax-related matters.

In 2021, Phil transitioned to GCM Grosvenor, a leading private equity firm based in Chicago, as a fund finance analyst. In this role, he managed accounting ledgers for private equity funds and investment vehicles.
